It does seal small plastic bags, but the sealing surface is only 1x90mm, so you have to apply it multiple times if it's something larger than that.

The switch that turns on when holding the bag is always on, so it suddenly starts working when powered on. It's not unusable, and returning it would be troublesome, so I'll use it as it is.
